Understanding the Game

First have a look at the various roulette tables available before beginning to play. Every table is designated with its own minimum and maximum bets. Also you will see the house rules written either on the table or beside.

When you find a table that shows the wagers within your price, you can then change your money for chips either at the table or with the cashier.  
 

3rd:

In order to place a wager, simply put the chips on a number or within the squares of the outside bets. 4th:

Learn a Few Sample Bets

Here are some of the ABC's of betting at the roulette table.

A:

Betting on a single number is called a "Straight-up" bet. If the ball lands on that number, the payment is 35:1. ds.
 

B:

The "Split bet" is a wager placed between two numbers, on the dividing line. When either of the two numbers wins, the payment is 17:1
 

C:

A wager placed at the edge of three numbers is a row bet. Should the ball land on one of the three numbers, this pays 11:1.  
 

D:

A corner bet is made by placing the chips on the cross section between 4 numbers. If you are lucky enough to win, this pays 8:1. 
 

E:

A bet placed at the edge of where 2 rows of 3 numbers meet is called a Street bet, this pays 6:1.  
 

F:

Column bets are made by placing the chips at the bottom of a column of twelve numbers. When this comes up it pays 2:1. 1.
 

G:

There are many other bets on the outer section of the roulette table paying odds of 1:1; meaning in a win you receive back your bet plus win the same amount as the original stake. These bets include odds and even, red or black, and other bets on numbers 1-18 and 19-36.
